Prof. Elizabeth Charlotte (Lotte) Moser (26-03-1973) is a Dutch radiation oncologist, currently working at the Champalimaud Foundation Cancer Center in Lisbon, Portugal as a dedicated breast specialist and researcher. She is teaching at the technical University of Lisbon and hosting different students for their masters within the Foundation. Her department hosts the Varian School for advanced radiation techniques. During her training she worked as a fellow in the EORTC (European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer) in Brussels, Belgium (2002). She received the ASCO Merit Award in 2003 and in 2005 ´Steenbergen prijs´ for her publications late effects of Non-Hodgkin´s Lymphoma treatment. In 2006 she finished training and left to France. She defended her PhD in Leiden in February 2007. During 5 years, she worked in different French medical clinics being responsible for radiation and chemotherapy treatments, mainly focused on Breast and gynecological cancers. In 2011, she moved to Lisbon to set-up the Breast Unit together with Dr Fatima Cardoso and the radiation department with Prof. Carlo Greco at the Champalimaud Foundation Cancer Center. Her research work is focused on safety and long-term side effects of cancer treatments. For many years she is active member of both Breast and Lymphoma EORTC groups and part of the EORTC Taskforce on brain metastases. Since 2012 she is chairing the EORTC Survivorship initiative, being a transversal platform across the different tumor orientated, radiation oncology and the Quality of Life EORTC groups.
